Puerto Valle (Esteros del Iberá)
On the Paraná river bank, the heart of the hotel is a traditional Corrientes’ manor built in 1868, with comfortable cozy rooms. Outside, a magnificent park of more than 35 acres, meticulously designed by the prestigious landscaping firm of Carlos Thays, is home to native and exotic species, and invites guests to relax, enjoy the quietness and connect with nature. It has 13 exclusive rooms overlooking the Paraná river with elegant details, such as the Egyptian cotton sheets, a pillows menu and the L’Occitane amenities. In the organic vegetable garden, herbs and vegetables are cultivated and then used in the elaboration of gourmet restaurant dishes. On the other side of the park there is a swimming pool and a quincho; a quiet shelter for the hot summer days. The proposal of the Chef and his team rescues the simplicity and the character of the place, giving a leading role to the typical ingredients of the area, such as river fishes, tropical and citrus fruit.
Just 10 km from the hotel is the wharf, where boats depart from to travel into the flora and fauna of the Iberá Wetlands. In between mates (a typical Argentine hot drink infusion) tourists will discover the animals that characterize this ecosystem.
